Hi Ambassadors:

Just a little reminder about our upcoming Ambassador Cluster Meetings in April 2006...this will be the last one for the 2005-2006 Ambassador contract year.

The Cluster Meeting schedule is below...it is based upon the past regularly scheduled cluster meetings we've had...Team Leaders, please let me know if this works for you and your cluster and then reconfirm the date and time with me.

Remember, you can go to any meeting if you cannot make your own cluster meeting...as a last resort, you can access the archives...We noticed the last round of meetings in February had a much lower "live" attendance...we're hoping to increase that for this last series of meetings in April.

IMPORTANT ACTIVITY REMINDERS:

Here's a list of important Ambassador activities coming up soon...Hopefully, you've all been able to continue your on-campus outreach activities as well which includes making presentations, forwarding emails, distributing take ones, etc...

CETC POST-SURVEY:

- We will be launching the CETC Post-Survey in April - June 2006

- You will make the decision on when and how you will launch the post-survey at your campus.

- Per your suggestions, we did add a better description under each CETC project.

- We will be sending out a notice to those who participated in the Pre-Survey.

- A very special thank you to Gregory Beyrer from Cosumnes River College for creating our Pre and Post-Survey!

- We will forward you the link and .pdf hard copy as soon as we get the final approval from the CETC projects.

AMBASSADOR ACTIVITY REPORT:

- Mandatory Activity Report is due at the end of the year...

- We will send you the final draft so you can keep track of your activities that we will need to record on the report.

- A very special thank you to Gregory Beyrer from Cosumnes River College for also creating our online Activity Report!

- We will forward you the link as soon as we get the final approval.

Some of the Activity Report changes to note include:

- Took out a few things that weren't relevant to this half of the year like whether they attended the training session in 7/05, etc...

- Added a few more lines under the activity section like "participated in flex activities".

- Also modified the distribution part and broke it into two questions...

- The first being how many are on their ListServ, mailbox, etc...distribution list

- The second question...how many times they distributed materials via these vehicles...

- This way we can calculate "total impressions" made...this was never clear in the first half activity report.

*So please try to keep track of how many times you have utilized your listservs or mailboxes to distribute or forward messages.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

Please let me know if your school year ends early, like in late April or May 2006...just hit "reply" and let me know the date. I know that for those of you who's year does end early, you are front loading your activities to compensate for this and we appreciate that!

FEBRUARY CLUSTER MEETING ARCHIVE:

If you didn't get a chance to attend your cluster meeting in February 2006, please make sure that you access the archived cluster meetings from the week of February 6, 2006...REMEMBER THESE MEETINGS ARE MANDATORY!

*Please access the meeting on 2/9/06 @ 1pm...I don't think we had any trouble with the self-archive on that one.

NEXT YEAR'S AMBASSADOR PROGRAM:

We will be continuing the Ambassador program for another year at least...please inform me if you feel that you CANNOT continue your duties as an Ambassador for the 2006-2007 year. (Contract Runs: July 1, 2006 to June 30, 2007)

Please also feel free to call me if you are having any problems conducting Ambassador activities at your campus...we can brainstorm for ideas.
